Alphabet Parade

This afternoon after Nora woke up from her nap, I turned on an audio CD that I hadn't played for her in awhile. It's a kids' music album that my cousin actually made. Nora loves it.

When I turned it on, she just kind-of stood there for awhile with her little thumbs in her pockets. She was still a bit zoned out from her nap, I think. Then, after a few minutes, she started moving to the music. Here's a still shot of that.

After I took that photo, I realized it wasn't going to do her little dance justice, so I had to take a video of it.

I was bummed out when it cut out on me at the end because she actually started "reading" her book out loud. It was pretty funny.

  1. Love the dance, Nora. She's so subtle about her coolness. She's like, I don't have to be over the top. I can just sway, and I am definitely cooler than anyone else. :)Does she love books? I mean--REALLY love books? Thomas wants to read books all the time. He brings me a book or two while I"m sitting down, gives them to me, and then says, "up!". And if I won't read to him, he'll read to himself. After his nap at the youth center, he will lay on his cot and 'read' while everyone else is still asleep--he's always the first one up, go figure. :)

  2. @oh_susanna_o - Oh, yeah. She totally loves books. She's got a book thing hanging over her door, and every time she wakes up, she always points to them and demands a book. In fact, as I'm typing this, she's "reading" a book that's in pieces behind me (she's also very hard on books).
